I know these kits are very popular and I tried to create it a little bit more detailed, so I added some pipes, wires and so on... I did not use LeMans stripes intentionally, because in sixties most of Shelbys didn't have them when they left the factory. The install was more often a dealer option, and to be honest, I like it more without them. Colors used are Gunze and Zero Paints finished with Gunze clear.

Another one of very famous plastic kits by Revell. This vintage racer has detailed Shelby engine bay with oil cooler and nessesary plumbing and wires and detailed opened racing trunk.
I changed the type of rear suspension (I am aware it was not used in sixties), and also added some more details which were not in the original version. Colors used are Gunze and Zero Paints finished with Gunze clear and decals are from "Slixx decals" and "Keith Marks". Hue of blue LeMans stripes is a little bit different than the Shelby original, but this is my vision of one survivor of the 36 R-Models built in 1965. Let´s imagine how she would look after restoration and still winning the battles of today's Vintage Races...

This is one of my first projects and it used to be ´34 Ford Street Rod. The model kit was without engine and it was 'Snap Tite'. I chopped the roof, created exhaust from ALU tubes and the colors I used were Gunze and Zero Paints.

My first experience with plastic model kits. I wanted to understand how American V-8 engine actually works so I decided to assemble this visible model. I added electric cables and connectors to the distributor and led lights into the combustion chambers. It was necessary to add gears into the camshaft and connect it with the distributor so that it would work like a real engine... It was my first time I used airbrush technique with Gunze color. Stand is made from wood, decals and battery were created specially for the model.
